1st Birthday Party!!

Today we celebrated Ava's birthday!!! (Grandma and Grandpa will be gone on the real thing so we did it early!) ! Ava did a great job opening presents. I think she got the hang of it with Christmas just a few days ago!

It has been so great to be with Ava this past week and half!! I get sad thinking about how she is almost one and not a baby anymore!

The Holiday Train!!

Sat. we went to Elbow Lake to see the Holiday Train! It was sooo much fun. We are already planning on going next year. The whole train is covered in lights. It starts in PA and ends way up in northern Canada! They had the most amazing singers! My mother compared one of them to Carrie Underwood and I agree!! With soo many people there it really didn't seem so cold. I was afraid Ava would start to get fussy but she did great and clapped along to the music and watched Santa from a distance! Here are some pics!

Here come the Molars!

I have been trying to get a good picture of all Ava's teeth coming in but this one I just caught by chance. I just noticed how you can see a huge molar starting to erupt! She never stays open long enough to let me see! If you click on the pic you can see it much better.

Ava is getting sneaky! We have these plastic shields for our vents to move the warm air where we want it to go. But Ava has other ideas for it! If you can see the plastic in the corner.... she likes to carry it all around the house!!!

Santa !!!!

When we were in the cites last week we went to see Santa at the Mall of America!! He was so great with little kids. They read a book together 1st!!

Wow! It is sooo cold outside! It's been fun to see all the snow though!! These are some pics I took this morning after getting all ready to go outside! I just can't believe that it's almost been a year since Ava was born. I just look at these pictures and wonder where all that time went!! But every month seems better than the last ..... so I guess I can only look forward to the ones to come!!

Josh and Erica's beautiful baby GIRL!!!

We stayed at Jenny and Tim's place Sunday night. It was so great to get to see the girls together again. Ava had her 1st kiss!!! Yes.... it was Ellie....... and she is a girl but it was soooo cute!!! We tried to get them to do it again so we could take a pic but every mom knows how that goes!

We went to the lighting of the Christmas tree with Ben's sister and kids on the 1st! It got a little to chilly with the wind! Ava is actually screaming in this picture but she was happy to go play with the cousins afterwards for dinner!

Drum Roll Please!!!

Well.... it's a girl! Erica and Josh had a beautiful baby girl last night at 9:16. Her name is Brooklyn Sue, weighing 8.7 ounces and 20 1/4 inches long. She has a full head of brown hair with a little bit of curl to it! She is so cute!! I could just eat her up. Erica is doing great!!! She looked better than me after Ava and she had it tougher than I did!! Pictures comming soon!

It's TIME!!!

Well..... We are on the way to the cities this morning to go see Erica's baby!! She went into labor yesterday. No news on what it is yet!!! Can't wait! Should be today!

Ava is back to herself !!! Or almost... she has 2 molars and one incisor comming in :-) But she isn't sick anymore! That makes mommy very HAPPY!!! Thanks for your prayers!

Grandma put up her Christmas tree!! She loves it!!! Needless to say this is why we won't be having one this year! Our place is to small and she wants to pull everything off!
