Here we go!!

After going to the dental convention in March I was convinced that it was time to take Ava's Pacifiers away. I needed to wait till I had a week off from work so that my mom wouldn't be put in this hard position. I am afraid this is going to be a very hard couple of days... see Ava has to have one pacifier on her finger and one in her mouth. (Not sure exactly why but she would always loose them in her crib so we always put an extra one in there) If she looses one during the night we hear her yelling for the 2nd one even though she has one in her mouth ! :-) I have decieded to go with the cutting method. One will just happen to be "broken" and the 2nd will become broken tonight also....So here goes nothin!

Polka- Dots

On tuesday I painted polka-dots in the waiting room. It's been 6 months without anything on the walls, and it looked so bare. Dr S and I couldn't agree on what to put out there... so hence.... more POLKA DOTS :-)

Babysitting Anna

Yesterday Ava and I babysat Anna (don't worry Jenny it was really just me :-) We had a fun filled day. As you can see at one point Ava laid her doll next to Anna and then Ava proceeded to lay down on the opposite side. I had to run and grab the camera to catch the moment !

Projects part 2

We landscaped the front yard this past weekend! It was great to finally have some nice weather to be able to get things done.

Mother's Day Heidi and Jared were able to stop by after going to a wedding in Iowa. It was way to short of a trip but we all had alot of fun! And Heidi brought Ava a Dora Doll!!

More projects...

We finally finished painting the shutters on the upper level. It was pretty scary on the ladder. I did the lower part and my hero of a husband did the upper parts :-) He also suprised me this week after working at bello's with a bonfire pit!! Ava had her 1st smore the other day..... and she loved it!!

Bare Minerals!!

So..... this is what I found when I heard Ben yelling NO AVA!!! When he was taking a shower. What you can't tell is that the make up is about a half and inch think on the toilet!! I had to grab the camera and take a pic before cleaning her up (and giving her a talk) because I knew someday I would find this funny :-)
